Raul Gallegos is a journalist, analyst and author, specialising in Latin America. His work has been published in the Los Angeles Times, the Miami Herald and & Slate, and he has appeared as a commentator on CNN.

Raul approached me to design and build a multilingual WordPress-based site to showcase his work and help promote his latest book, Crude Nation.

He had some pretty clear ideas with regards to the look and feel of the site. He knew he wanted to take a minimalist approach, allowing the text to speak for itself.

Raul requested that the main aspects of his work — as an analyst, a journalist, a commentator, and an author —  were highlighted on the homepage.

This project also involved installing and configuring the WPML translation plugin.
